Schweitzer officially opened in 1963 as Schweitzer Basin Ski Area and originally operated with one chairlift, a rope tow and day lodge. Today Schweitzer Mountain Resort accesses nearly 3000 skiable acres with seven chairlifts, including two new lifts for this winter.
The Schweitzer Village boasts a number of excellent restaurants, two slopeside hotels, outstanding retail outlets and more! These amenities, coupled with the rest of the mountain operations, offer a diverse selection of employment opportunities for you to choose from.
