Schweitzer Mountain Resort is nestled at the base of the Selkirk Mountains, in the Idaho panhandle, and overlooks Lake Pend Oreille - one of the largest freshwater lakes in the West. The resort is 86 miles outside of Spokane, Washington and about 45 miles south of the Canadian border. The town of Sandpoint, Idaho is just 11 miles away.

Schweitzer is the perfect destination in the winter or summer, and a great rest stop for those traveling to Glacier National Park, Banff Provincial Park or south to the Sawtooths.
