Win Schweitzer College Season Pass in College Daze Poker Run
Schweitzer hosts annual event February 2nd and 3rd
Sandpoint, ID – Schweitzer Mountain Resort is holding their annual College Daze event on February 2nd and 3rd, 2008. New this year is an opportunity for college students to win a 08-09 college season pass in a poker run. Students will collect a playing card at the bottom of each of five chairlifts including the Basin Express Quad, Lakeview Triple, Great Escape Quad, Stella and Snowghost. The best five card hand at the end of the day will win a season pass.
“College Daze is a great opportunity for students to get out and ski and ride together while enjoying an affordable weekend at Schweitzer,” said Paul Chivvis, Schweitzer’s College Rep for North Idaho College. “It’s exciting that this year there is the opportunity to win such a valuable prize playing a fun game!”
Registration for the poker run will be held upstairs in the Lakeview Lodge from 8am to 11am. Everyone who wants to play must register by 11am. Cards may then be collected from Mountain Hosts who will be stationed at the five chairlifts from 10am until 2pm. Card distribution will end at 2pm. The winning hand will be selected on the patio in front of the Lakeview Lodge at 4pm. There is no fee to enter the poker run.
Discounted college lift tickets are available February 2nd and 3rd for $35 with a valid college ID. College lodging packages that include lift tickets start at $69 per person per night based on availability and quad occupancy for a two night stay.
