Greetings from Schweitzer Mountain Resort!

As the sun shines and begins to melt the tremendous snowpack of the 07-08 winter, our thoughts at Schweitzer turn to summertime fun on the mountain.

Each winter we’re fortunate to welcome many writers, editors and photographers to ski and play at Schweitzer, but we want you to know that summer tells an entirely different story. Those who have been here recently for a summer visit have witnessed first-hand how much fun we have at Schweitzer in the warmer months. We encourage those who haven’t visited for a while (or ever) to experience summertime at Schweitzer for yourself.  Huckleberries burst, music and laughter ring out, wheels and pedals turn, and eyes behold amazing views from the mountain. Enjoy all this along with the peace of the wind playing in the evergreens.
