The 2014 Vertical Express for Multiple Sclerosis MS hits the slopes of Schweitzer Mtn. Resort on March 8th.
Celebrating 24 years at Schweitzer Mountain Resort, The 2014 Vertical Express for CAN DO MS, is an event for skiers, boarders and telemarkers of all abilities and ages that benefits Can Do Multiple Sclerosis, formerly The Heuga Center for MS, a national nonprofit (501)(c)(3) organization and leading provider of innovative lifestyle empowerment programs for people with MS and their support partners.
Entrants raise a minimum of $150 per person to enter the Vertical Express for MS. Registration includes event entry, Louisiana BBQ dinner, drinks, goodie bag, lift ticket, t-shirt, Pardi Gras souvenirs and Pardi Gras party!

5:30pm-8:30pm Registration party at Alpine Motors in Ponderay
Saturday, March 8th
9:00-9:45 am Late Registration in the Caribou Room, Photos and registration for the “Pardi Gras” costume competition
9:45am Pre-Race Meeting in the Caribou Room
10:00am Group Photo at the Clock Tower
10:15am–12:00pm GS race on NASTAR
12:00pm-1:00pm Break for lunch - BYOL (Bring your own lunch). View and Vote on the “Pardi Gras” costumes!
1:45pm Meet at top of NASTAR for the Pardi Gras Downhill Challenge competitor meeting
2pm-3:30pm Pardi Gras Downhill Challenge - A Pardi Gras themed obstacle course down Midway ski run
3:30pm-6:30pm Miah Kohal Band performs in Taps for Pardi Gras - Specials on Fat Tire and Accumulation White IPA beers!
5pm Cocktail Hour, Silent Auction and viewing of “Can Do-The Legacy of Jimmie Heuga” – Caribou Room
6:45pm Louisiana BBQ Dinner, Awards and Auction - Caribou Room ($40 for non-participants)
7:30pm-10:30pm Pardi Gras party continues in Taps with Full Circle performing - Specials on New Belgium beers!
