It's the largest on-mountain expansion in Schweitzer's history. With over $10 million in upgrades and improvements we're already looking forward to the 2007/2008 ski season.
We're excited to announce the construction of two new chairlifts at the resort. The Basin Express is a high speed detachable quad that starts in the heart of Schweitzer's Village and brings skiers and boarders to just above the former chair one midway point. The Lakeview Triple starts just below the Basin Express unload and brings passengers to the top of the mountain.

Additionally, Schweitzer is investing $2 million in utilities to accommodate the expansion and future growth, and an additional $2 million in grooming and snowmaking equipment, improvements in the Lakeview Lodge, and other chairlift upgrades.
