Terrain Park
Stomping Grounds Terrain Park: Easily accessed off the Basin Express, The Stomping Grounds Terrain Park is Schweitzer’s signature park and hosts a variety of our largest jump and jib features. New in 2010/2011, a park pass will be required to enter the Stomping Grounds creating less congestion, and ultimately, more fun for you.
Starfish Terrain Park: Introduced in early 2010, the Starfish Terrain Park relieved some of the pressure on The Stomping Grounds by providing hiker-friendly, unintimidating medium features. Seen on your left when unloading the Basin Express, and accessed skiers left of Midway, the Starfish Terrain Park is a great place to hone your skills before stepping up to The Stomping Grounds.
Terrain Garden: The Terrain Garden, located above Enchanted Forest off of Musical Chairs, is the place for our youngest riders and beginner park users to get a feel for freestyle terrain. The features are small and low to the ground, and the vibe focused around family fun.
Rider-X: Located just beyond The Stomping Grounds on Crystal Run, our Rider-X course is a great place to feel the Gs build up under your feet. Complete with banked turns and rollers, the Rider-X is fun for all ages and abilities.
