Greetings from the top of Idaho,
It’s a big process -- switching gears from winter to summer. Living and working at a place where one is constantly thinking of wintertime, there is almost a void when it all goes away. As we write this in mid May there is still plenty of snow out there, but when we descend 9 miles into the town of Sandpoint one would think it’s fully summertime. Soon enough mother nature will find a balance, the snow will be a memory, and lush green slopes will be abundant.
The wintertime void is quickly filled with endless days of hiking, biking and simply enjoying the views of Lake Pend Oreille and Sandpoint, the most beautiful small town in America. We invite you to visit us this summer; we’re more than happy to share our little piece of paradise with you.
