New Lineup Announced for Schweitzer Music Festival
Free concert takes place on July 16th with three bands for Mountain Music Festival
Sandpoint, ID - Schweitzer Mountain Resort will host the Mountain Music Festival this Saturday with 3 bands; Terrible Buttons, Fat Tones, and recently added Nu Jack City. Leroy Bell and His Only Friends were scheduled to perform, but had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. Free music will be performed 2pm – 8pm, while other village activities will run 11am – 7pm.
“We are disappointed to lose Leroy Bell from Saturday’s lineup” said Schweitzer Events Director, Mary Weber-Quinn. “However we couldn’t be more excited about Nu Jack City’s performance, their upbeat music entices people to get up and dance.”
In addition to a great musical lineup, guests will get a chance to experience all the great summertime activities Schweitzer has to offer, including horseback rides, scenic chairlift rides, hiking, biking, climbing wall, bungee trampoline, disc golf and much more. Lift rides and activities will have extended hours, 11am – 7pm, during the festival.
“Families can spend the entire morning playing on the mountain and finish out their day with great music and dancing,” said Quinn.
Lodging is still available for the weekend in the White Pine and Selkirk Lodge located directly in the Schweitzer village. For reservations call 877.487.4643
