Huckleberry Festival

Come on up for our 6th Annual Schweitzer Huckleberry Festival! We’ll be celebrating all things huckleberry with a huckleberry pancake breakfast, live music for the family, huckleberry crafts and treats, a huckleberry pie eating contest and all kinds of kid’s activities!
Of course, all the usual activities will be available too: Hiking, biking, chairlift rides, climbing wall, disc golf, zip line, sluice box, and more! All hikes and picking excursions are dependent on ripe berry availability on Schweitzer property. Come on up for a day of family fun!

7:30am - 1pm: Huckleberry pancake breakfast
9:30am & 11:30am: Hosted huckleberry hikes depart (based on berry availability.
9am - 4pm: The Huckle Shuttle (to/from) picking sites (based on berry availability)
10am - 4pm: Crafts and huckleberry activities in the village
11am - 4pm: "Schweitzer Dogs" serving hot dogs
11am - 5pm: Chairlift, Climbing Wall, Air Jumper, and Zip Line open
12pm - 5pm: Huckleberry wine and beer tasting at Gourmandie (21+)
11am - 4pm: Arts and Crafts Vendors in village
1pm - 4pm: Live music by "The Huckleberry Jam Band"
New this year will be the Huckleberry Bake Off. The contest will support "Creations", a Sandpoint non-profit aimed towards providing family friendly activites for the community. Get the facts and get to baking!
