Vertical Earth will host this great fundraiser and serve food from Bardenays, beer by Laughing Dog Brewery, Wine by Pend d'oreille Winery and have music by Justin Landis and Craig Baldwin.
Team Laughing Dog is going to hop on their bikes this summer in Oceanside, California and pedal non-stop 24/7 all the way across america to Annapolis, Maryland. That's over 3000 miles and 110,000 feet of climbing. That’s like climbing Schweitzer Mountain Road over 50 times.
Race Across America is a benefit to fight Autism, a developmental disability that effects 1 in 110 children.
Team Laughing Dog's goal is to raise a million dollars for Autism research and local programs which will support Inland Northwest families dealing with autism.
Schweitzer's very own Kirk Johnson will accompany the team as their bike mechanic. We'll all be following the race closely when June 18th rolls around and will keep all you Schweitzer fans updated on how Team Laughing Dog is doing.
