Tailgate Alaska, A Free Movie Screening

Schweitzer is excited to host a free official showing of the epic new snowboard and ski film “Tailgate Alaska: The Movie” in the Caribou Room of the Lakeview Lodge. This film documents the 2010 Tailgate Alaska event in which riders from around the world gathered in a remote Alaskan parking lot to form a base camp for epic riding in the Thompson Pass, Valdez, Alaska terrain for two incredible weeks. Olympians, professional athletes, and recreational riders gathered to hang out, ride, and resurrect the King of the Hill extreme big mountain competition.
Sam’s Alley Pizza will be open, just next door, so you can bring the family for slices and sodas while you enjoy the movie! For adults 21+, there will be Alaskan Brewing Company (the official beer of Tailgate Alaska) beers for sale in the Caribou Room as well.
Time: Doors open at 6pm, Movie begins at 6:30pm
