Fall Fest 2026 at Schweitzer
September 4 - September 7, 2026
The 33rd annual Fall Fest kicks off Friday, September 4! With live music, over 80 beers, ciders, and seltzers from the PNW, what's not to love? Not only that, but there will also be a wine tent, vendor tents, and food trucks with delicious and unique goodies for everyone to enjoy. The party lasts all of Labor Day weekend and offers something fun for the whole family. This is the final weekend of summer operations, so soak up the final chairlift rides, go on a hike, or mountain bike down some of our incredible terrain. While the beer drinking is for the grown-ups, there are kid-friendly options as well like our summer activities and a soda station where you can mix and create your own concoctions! Soda sampling is $25 and includes a kids' cup with 3 sampling tokens. Make sure you buy your souvenir glassware and come on up for an unforgettable weekend.

Can I use last years Fall Fest glass?
Sorry, but no. To partake in the beer sampling, all guests must purchase a 2026 souvenir glass!
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are welcome but must be on leash during their visit! However, Fall Fest is a busy event with lots of people and other animals. Please use your best discretion if your fur baby is easily stressed or does not interact well with other dogs.
Please note: dogs are not permitted in the Lakeview Lodge or any of our dining outlets unless they are a certified service animal.

Can I bring my own drinks?
Feel free to bring your own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages if you'd like! However, outside alcohol may not be consumed on the the premises.
Can kids come?
It goes without saying, but we'll say it anyways. Kids cannot participate in the sampling (21+ only!). However, there are plenty of fun options to entertain the kiddos while the adults enjoy the wine! While there are plenty of free & fun things to do around the Village like a playground and lawn games, there are also activities like the trampoline jumper, rock climbing wall, and even a zip line! Or, bundle all the activities together with an Ultimate Fun Pass.
Do I need to bring cash?
We are able to take card, cash, and tap to pay! For our local vendor booths, payment options vary.
Do I need to bring my ID?
The mountain is open for everybody during Fall Fest weekend. However, if you are partaking in beer sampling you must be 21+ with a valid, state issued ID.
Should I bring anything up to the mountain with me?
Fall Fest is one of our favorite weekends and over the years we've found there are a few items that are helpful to pack for your day!
- Sunscreen & sunglasses
- Comfortable shoes
- Lawn chairs or blanket - to make sure you have a cozy spot for the live music
- Water bottle - there is a water refill station in the Selkirk Lodge, Humbird, and Ski & Ride Center
- Umbrella - if it's really warm, umbrellas are a great way to provide shade wherever you are
Please note: Alcohol purchased outside of Schweitzer Village may NOT be consumed on the premises. Please make your purchases at one of the licensed establishments in the Village to support the Schweitzer Mountain Community Association.
