Mountain Horse Adventures

Thanks for a great summer! We are closed for the season.

Ride through beautiful forests and see breathtaking views of Lake Pend Oreille with our local partners, Mountain Horse Adventures. Rides begin from the Schweitzer village and head out to some special locations.

Horseback rides are available June 16 to September 4, 2023, weather-permitting. Rides depart at 9:00am and 1:00pm and cost $105 per person.

For ages 10 & up.  All Ability levels. Maximum weight of 240 lbs which may be verified upon arrival. Helmets required and provided. Don't forget to wear long pants and closed toe shoes!

Please note: there is no public horse access anywhere at Schweitzer.  All horseback riding must be through Mountain Horse Adventures and the Summer Activity Center.
