Summer weather at Schweitzer can be unpredictable. Guests should come prepared with proper footwear, jackets, and other layers. Wind and lightning holds can occur, and all operations are weather permitting.

Are summer upgrades available for Schweitzer tickets or passes?

Yes. Guests with an Ultimate Fun Pass can add mountain biking tickets for $25. Guests who have taken a chairlift ride and want to upgrade to an unlimited scenic lift ticket can upgrade at the Summer Activity Center. Mountain biking tickets do not include rentals.

What are the summer activity restrictions at Schweitzer?

Climbing Wall participants must be between 30 and 240 lbs. Trampoline Jumper participants must be between 30 and 240 lbs. Zip Line participants must be at least 8 years old and between 60 and 240 lbs. Closed toe or secure heel shoes are required for the Zip Line. There are no exceptions for the weight and age requirements.

When are Afternoon Tickets available at Schweitzer?

Afternoon Tickets at Schweitzer are available Sunday through Thursday for guests to ski or ride after 12:30pm until the lifts close. Afternoon Tickets are not available on days with Twilight Skiing. Blackout dates include 12/26 to 12/31, 2/15, and 1/18/2026.

Are waivers required before visiting Schweitzer?

Yes. Guests must complete the required liability waiver before their visit.

Can guests reload a Schweitzer RFID card?

Yes. Guests with an eligible, reloadable Schweitzer RFID card can reload their ticket through Schweitzer reload links and save 10% on their purchase.

Summer Upgrades

Over the summer, there are different upgrades that can be made to your tickets or passes! If you have an Ultimate Fun Pass, you can add on mountain biking tickets for $25! If you've taken a ride on the chairlift and want to upgrade to an unlimited scenic lift ticket, you can upgrade at the Summer Activity Center!

Summer Activity Restrictions

Summer activities are fun for the whole family! However, there are restrictions to guarantee the safety of every guest. Please take the time to review the restrictions below.
Climbing Wall Restrictions: Must be between 30-240lbs.

Zip Line Restrictions: Must be at least 8 years old and between 60-240lbs. Closed toe/secure heel shoes are required.

Afternoon and Twilight Tickets

Afternoon Tickets at Schweitzer are available Sunday - Thursday so that you can hit the slopes any time after 12:30pm and ride until the lifts close! Afternoon Tickets are not available on days with Twilight Skiing.

Twilight Tickets are available on Fridays, Saturdays, and select holidays. You can purchase tickets in advance for the best price and to support the local nonprofit organization, Own the Night! Own the Night tickets must be purchased at least one day before your visit for the best price and to support our local non-profits. Twilight Tickets are available for purchase on the day of your visit online or at the ticket window for full price.

Please note: While Twilight Tickets are unavailable for online purchase on MLK Weekend and Presidents Weekend. Twilight Tickets for these holiday weekends must be purchased in-person at the ticket window in the Village.
