Funatics
Skiers and snowboarders ages 7-14 will develop their abilities and create mountain memories in this eight-week program. Skiers should be able to make parallel turns and snowboarders should be able to link turns on beginner trails. Participants will be sorted into teams that match their ability level and remain with the same team and coach for the duration of the program.

Mountain Xplorers
Skiers and snowboarders age 6-13 who are looking for a flexible, multi-week program. Kids ride in ability‑based groups with our professional coaches, building skills, confidence, and friendships along the way. Attend any session on any offered day! Freestyle Camp
Begin your freestyle journey with our incredible instructors at Schweitzer. This camp, offered on Saturdays and Sundays during the winter season, is designed to equip skiers and riders ages 6 - 14 years old with everything they need to know to safely grow their skills across the mountain.
This program is dedicated to teaching kids about park etiquette and safety, making conditions-based decisions, and progression building. Whether your child is interested in expanding their park abilities or chasing cliffs on powder days, Freestyle Camp is ready to help kids learn how to send it—safely!
Freestyle Camp participants must be able to ski/ride at an intermediate level or above to join this program.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the different between Mtn X and Funatics?
Funatics is tied to a specific day of the week. Same kids, same discipline, Same coach, Same day, every week for 8 weeks.
MX is a drop-in program. Kids can sign up to attend as many or as few of the days as they would like. MX is offered every peak day and every weekend day, starting December 26th – March 14th. Sign-ups are divided into morning and afternoon sessions. Kids can sign up for either or both each day they plan to attend. They also have the option of skiing or snowboarding. They can do either or both throughout the season, just not on the same day.

Can my child do MtnX/Funatics and Freestyle Camp?
Yes! Simply add Freestyle Camp onto your purchase when buying your MtnX or Funatics Pass.
What if we can't make it every week?
If you can't make it every week, Mtn X and Freestyle Camp are the options for you! Just sign up for the sessions you can attend.
Is lunch included?
No. Lunch for Funatics is supervised, but food is not provided. Freestyle Camp is only a half day in the afternoon. Lunch is not provided or supervised for Mtn X.
Where do we meet in the morning?
All lessons, including Mtn X, Funatics, and Freestyle Camp, meet in the Lesson Arrival area located across from the Great Escape Quad and by the activities yurt (located by the Musical Carpet).
My child is interest in the CIT (Coach in Training) with Funatics. How do we sign up?
Just sign up for regular Funatics and indicate that you would like the participant (13-14 years old) to join the CIT program in the registration form. You'll receive this form after purchasing Funatics.
