Schweitzer's Children's Center is a 2,500 square foot, fully licensed child care facility located steps from the slopes. All Children's Center staff are CPR and First Aid certified to ensure the safest environment for your little ones. We are committed to a low child-to-caregiver ratio that assures full attention to your child with non-stop engaging activities, including arts, crafts, music, games, and even on-snow play time. You can enjoy the slopes knowing your child is having as much fun as you!
KinderKamp is a seasonal day care program offered for children between the ages of 4 months to 6 years. Whether you're a local or visitor, KinderKamp day care can help you make the most of your day on the mountain and even instill a love for skiing at a young age!

2023/24 KinderKamp Day Care Options
Let our professional day care staff take care of everything. From infants, toddlers and more, Schweitzer's child care facility provides quality, fun and adventure. Age-appropriate lunch and snacks provided with all child care options if applicable. Go on, enjoy the slopes; we’re having fun at KinderKamp. Does not include lessons, please see below for lesson package options. Reservations required.
Full Day
- $180 ages 4 months - 1.9 years
- $160 ages 2 years - 6 years
Half Day
- $135 ages 4 months - 1.9 years
- $120 ages 2 years - 6 years
Pre-Ski Program: KinderKamp offers time each day for children willing to get outside and explore the mountain environment engaging in balance exercises, snowshoeing, one-ski sliding, and simply just learning the sights and sounds of a ski area!
2023/24 KinderKamp Day Care & Lessons
Part ski camp, part adventure camp. KinderKamp offers an all-day interactive experience. Our team of professional instructors combine ski lessons with a timely indoor recreation break where the kids get to play, create art, and relax in our licensed child care. Once you drop off your child, we will take care of their ski lesson dressing needs and our ski school coaches will pick up and drop off directly to our facility - so that you can enjoy your full day out on the slopes! Ski rentals are available at the Children's Center so please arrive early to get all set up. Reservations required.
Child Care & Group Lesson Package (4 years - 6 years)
- $230 Full-day: includes two lessons, all day flexible child care, two snacks and lunch
- $175 Half-Day: 4 hours total, includes one lesson, child care outside of lesson time, and lunch/snacks (if applicable)
Group lesson times vary depending on ability level. Group lessons are available December through the end of March (weather permitting)
Child Care & Private Lesson Add-on (ages 6 years & under)
Add a 1-on-1 private lesson with a coach to a full or half day child care option. Lesson times vary based on availability, reservations recommended. Once you drop off your child, we will take care of their ski lesson dressing needs and our ski school coaches will pick up and drop off directly to our facility - so that you can enjoy your full day out on the slopes!
- Ages 4 & under starting at $100 for 1 hour in addition to a child care daily option
- Ages 5 years - 6 years beginning at $280 for 2 hours
2023/24 Monthly Child Care & Lesson Options
Our new monthly child care options are a great solution for families visiting Schweitzer more than a few times a month. Lunch, snacks are provided each day of care. Days of the week are selected and prepurchased based on availability. A cubby will be provided to use and store belongings along with ski equipment storage for the entire month.
Child Care Monthly Plans
3 Days/week each month:
$700 ages 4 months - 1.9 years
$625 ages 2 years - 6 years
5 Days/week each month:
$1,000 ages 4 months - 1.9 years
$900 ages 2 years - 6 years
Child Care + Group Lessons: add up to 2 group lessons each day of attendance
- 3 days/week each month: $790 ages 4 years - 6 years
- 5 days/week each month: $1,110 ages 4 years - 6 years
Limited availability for winter months (Dec-Mar). Due to high demand, pre-purchase begins in the Spring. Don’t delay as we sell out quickly.

- 23/24 KinderKamp Waiver: must be completed for all participants
- Infant Schedule: only for children still in diapers (pull ups or potty training will not need this form)
