Lottery Sign Up

To sign your child up for one week of our Summer Adventure Camp, you must enter our lottery system. Spots are currently being assigned, so don't delay! Please review all FAQs below before signing up.

Enter the lottery

Camp is $325 for the week, but payment will not be collected until your child has been awarded a spot from the lottery in early May. Once we award the spot, you will have 1 week to pay in full. A souvenir camp t-shirt will also be provided to each camper for no additional fee!
We do a lottery-style system allowing for as many campers to attend as possible. Simply fill our your preferences on this form then we'll contact you in early May to confirm all campers and provide a registration code/instructions to give payment. Please submit one form for each child by July 1st. Child must be age 6-10 except for Week 2 of camp which is for 10-12 year-olds only. Please note that there is a 1 week limit per child.
All camp registrations are final once paid, though you may always call the Children's Center at (208) 263-8824 with any concerns.
Each week, campers can look forward to climbing the rock wall twice, the trampoline jumper twice, ride the lift at least twice, hiking, games in the Village, a trip to the Cranky Jennings Sluice Box, a hot dog BBQ on Fridays and much more!
Yes! We will pick up your camper in a small Schweitzer bus at the Schweitzer Park & Ride lot (the Red Barn) at the base of the mountain at 8:00am and bring them back at 4:00pm.
Everyone makes friends at Schweitzer Camp! You'll have fun making new friends.
Most of the time, all the campers stay together. However, depending on activities, we may divide into groups. For example: if we are going on a hike, one group may go on a long hike and one may go on a shorter hike.
Apart from our Week 2 of camp which is for 10-12 year-olds only, we are very strict with age as all of our activities are specific to the physical and mental abilities of ages 6-10. We spend a lot of time doing physical activities, so please consider your child's capabilities if they have recently turned 6. Campers will hike upwards of 3 miles on a given day.

We offer campers a few snacks each day and provide a hot dog BBQ lunch on Friday, however, please pack lunch for Monday - Thursday and additional snacks if your child is a picky eater or going through a growth spurt!
Rain or shine, campers will still enjoy the benefits of having fun in nature with what our mountain has to offer! Please dress for the weather accordingly.
Safety of campers is our number one priority. Specific protocols have been outlined for many situations including chairlift rides and hiking. Further specifics are outlined for you upon registration confirmation.
The pool complex has hot tubs and a shallow end campers may enjoy. Campers are only allowed in the deep end without a life jacket once they demonstrate adequate swimming skills. Swimming lessons will not be provided and although our staff are trained with basic pool safety, they are not certified lifeguards.
