Schweitzer

The largest ski area in Washington & Idaho!

With 2900 acres of terrain and an average of 300" of annual snowfall, Schweitzer skis big yet you'll feel right at home on our uncrowded slopes, fantastic groomers, and in our intimate ski-in/ski-out lodging in the White Pine and Selkirk Lodges. Families love staying with us thanks to the close proximity to the lifts, outdoor pool & hot tubs, and dining options just steps away.

Once the snow begins to melt and skis & snowboards are put away for the season, summertime comes alive at Schweitzer! The birds start singing, wildflowers bloom and biking trails appear on the mountainside. What better way to enjoy summer than hiking & biking in breathtaking scenery?

Schweitzer has so much to offer and when you include visits to the picturesque town of Sandpoint, ID, you'll find plenty to discover! Explore shops, local eateries, art galleries or the weekly farmer's market on Saturday mornings. Between the best of mountain and lake, there's something for everyone.

Come experience something that can only be called "The Schweitzer Difference." It's the personality and culture you'll find when you interact with our passionate Schweitzer team. I look forward to sharing our passion for the mountains, an infectious zest for life, and top-notch service with you during your stay.

Sincerely,
Sean Mirus
Marketing & Events Director
