Independence Racing Team Presents: 2026 Junior Starlight Series
This series provides an affordable way for both seasoned and first-time racers to experience ski racing all while connecting with others who share their passion! Our focus is on introducing the excitement and fun of ski racing to youth. Racers will meet at 5:00pm on Friday, January 9th, for the first session. During this first session, participants will receive coaching, get to practice on the race course, and take two timed NASTAR runs. Subsequent sessions are 5:30pm - 7:00pm on January 16, 23, and 30.
Team results will be based upon each participant’s best run of the series. Racers missing a day will have their original seeding handicap included in their team’s daily results, without penalty. It is okay to miss a day! Don’t miss out on the fun just because you can’t make every session. After the racing ends on the finale (January 30th), join us for awards and prizes in the Lakeview Lodge.
