Who Can sign up?
This bike camp is designed for kids ages 8-13 with intermediate trail riding experience. Riders who enroll in Summer Bike Camp need to be comfortable on trails such as those at the Schweitzer Roundabout and Lower Basin.
How much is it?
Schweitzer Summer Bike Camp is $360 per camper. This includes 4 days at camp running from 9:00am -2:00pm, snacks provided throughout the week, and a BBQ lunch on Thursday (the final day).

Where will camp take place?
All 4 days will take place at Schweitzer. Drop off & pick up for your kids will be in the Schweitzer Village.


What do i need to bring?

  • Helmets (required)
  • A front suspension bike (or better) with good brakes
  • Pads (recommended but not required)
  • Appropriate footwear (no open-toed sandals or flip flops)
  • Replacement tube and flat tire kit
  • Sack lunch for Monday - Wednesday (BBQ lunch will be provided Thursday)

Monday, July 19

9:00am - 11:30amCamp Introduction along with bike inspection, safety checks, skills assessment, and group assignments
12:00pm - 2:00pmFirst skills course (grouped 4:1 with instructors) on trails in the Schweitzer Village/XC area

Additional Information

  • Snacks provided throughout the week
  • BBQ lunch on Thursday
  • Campers should bring their own lunch Monday - Wednesday
  • Bikes can remain on mountain overnight for the week of camp if preferred
  • All coaches are BICP certified (Bike Instructor Certification Program)
  • Class overall ratio is 1 coach per 4 students
  • Registration and purchase will be available online with a limited number of spots.

Please note: A section of North Boyer Ave (north of the fairgrounds), one of the primary access roads to Schweitzer Mountain Road, is closed until further notice due to construction around the culvert. Please follow detours using West Bronx Road.
