A family-Friendly Tour from the top

The west bowl of Schweitzer Basin and just beyond the ski area boundary lines lies miles of maintained trails accessible to our guided snowmobile tours.

We utilize the latest Ski Doo snowmobiles with heated hand grips, comfortable driver and passenger seats, touch screen displays, and miles of good times! Travel along our resort boundary line or drop deep into the drainage and experience a remote forested area with amazing views of the Selkirk Mountains, Priest River Valley, and Lake Pend Oreille. As we drop down the valley you will experience ice rock walls, old cedar groves, and free flowing creeks around every corner. End your day at one of our many dining outlets with food, drinks, and share stories of the adventure with your group.

We take first-time snowmobilers every day and help them become comfortable rather quickly. Snowmobiles are stable machines that require sitting and upper body steering control as well as hand movements to operate the throttle with your right thumb and the brake with your left hand. Unlike a motorcycle or bicycle, snowmobiles do not require balancing but similarly, guests will experience bumps and movements corresponding to the condition of the ever-changing trail conditions. Passengers need to be comfortable sitting on a rear seat with seat back, heated armrest, as well as taking direction from their guide.
