Schweitzer's future: Bringing families together for generations to come.

In September 2021, an engaged group of highly skilled and experienced experts met at Schweitzer for a series of developmental and planning sessions centered on answering the question: What does Schweitzer's future look like?

This group included some of the country's most creative and inspired professionals: Real Estate Analysists, Marketers, Developers, Branding and Sales Consultants, Architects, Land Planners, Engineers, Construction Managers and Schweitzer's own Operations and Real Estate Management.

The accomplished collection of experts was charged with creating strategies and development plans that will expand and improve Schweitzer, working towards a sustainable, vital future without changing the heart of what homeowners and guests love about it.

The resulting concepts from these sessions and subsequent efforts in refining and enriching them will establish both short- and long-term residential opportunities and accompanying amenities that work in concert to enhance the overall living experiences at Schweitzer.

The group of professionals identified a number of key residential development sites that offer unique topographical and natural benefits such as mature forests, both panoramic and framed views and trail access on skies, on foot and on bikes.

Following site selection, the group then delved into creating environmentally responsible and sustainable real estate products that will accommodate diverse family compositions, lifestyles, financial abilities as well as all four seasons while:

  1. Being less expensive and faster to build
  2. Integrating the topography and natural assets of the sites
  3. Advancing new technologies that enable "light on the land" construction methods

This process is on-going. New neighborhoods and their innovative residential creations will be introduced in the years ahead.
